Hollie Toups and Marianna Taschinger are two of the first victims to speak up and go public with their experiences.  Below is the entire [raw] footage of their interviews with 12 News in Beaumont, TX.   Hollie and Marianna, we are so proud of you.  Thank you for paving the way for other victims to speak up about their experience.

I recently was being vicimized by my ex boyfriend. He had a few photos and videos of me. When we broke up he blackmailed me by saying if I didn’t meet and speak to him before the end of the work week he was going to send all the photos and videos to my new boss, childs father and my whole family. That since I hurt him he is going to ruin me. I called the police and they stated they couldn’t do anything because he was not physically doing anything to me. And that the fact that he was just showing up at my home uninvited they couldn’t do anything for me. I went to court and filed for an Order of Protection. That didn’t stop him from texting me all the information he had about my boss, daughter’s father, my mother, and friends and family. I called the police and because he moved out of the home he was living at they couldn’t arrest him at home. They arrested him at his job for 2 days. I have now changed my number and moved out of the home my mother and I own. I am still in fear that he is going to send those pictures ad videos at anytime, when I least expect it.

I don’t know what else to do about this.

Laura, I was for years, a domestic violence advocate. I want to tell you truly, I am so sorry this is happening to you. The same thing happened to me. My ex threatened to post intimate photos of me on telephone poles, whatever. I have three sons, who were teenagers and a young adult. I did NOT want them to see their mom plastered everywhere where their friends could see them, It’s an awful, helpless position to be in, and it is SO important, I am so proud of Holly for taking up this challenge. Come on ladies and gents, we all know that women just cannot reciprocate this threat back on to the bully. Doesn’t have the same repercussions in society.

He is a coward! I feel your pain, Laura. There are so many disturbed men out there who can not accept when a relationship has ended. They need to man-up about accepting the consequences of a relationship. Relationships either work, or they don’t. Respect the person who was part of your life, and you were part of hers. Move on, and think of her as something special that happened to you, and the good things you learned from that person.
      Cowards!

I am so sorry to hear this. I went through something similar.. This guy assaulted me and claimed he taped it. Oh ya and stole my phone. Stalked me for weeks and told my family if I didn’t talk to him he would send the tape out to all my google contacts. (Which stole from my phone supposedly.) Nothing was ever sent but I still live in fear that the stalking will continue or something will surface. Stay strong and know that you are not alone. 🙁 I went to the police and they did NOTHING.
